I'm Hollis and I'd love to share some tips, advice, and experiences with you here on IDM. Thought this would be an appropriate place to reach all those aspiring actors out there.

I've lived in Los Angeles as as transplant from Pittsburgh for a little more than 5 years now and have been making a living at on-camera work since I was 15 (I'm in my late 20s now). I am a member of SAG, AFTRA, and AEA (Equity -- stage work), and teach drama as well as produce full-length indie films. I've also recently published a book called "101 Monologues for Kids!"

Hi IDMers, so sorry my vlogging idea died, I got caught up in the schedule and just forgot to film as we went So here was my IDM hosting experience:
Friday, Oct. 21, 4:45am- my alarm went off. Dragged myself out of bed (only had 3 hours sleep, eeek!) and headed to the airport with Mum (that's my mom for all the non-British IDMers ) Caught a 7am flight and landed in LAX at 9am, which is the biggest and most hectic airport I've ever encountered. It's like a mini city. We made it out the doors and Dan and Wes picked us up, zipped us to the hotel, we put our stuff away, came down, and woooosh I was enveloped in a big IDM hug from Nathalie, Irvin, and Damarys!
